Victorian Duchess Dressing Table Base (1)

An original Duchess Dressing Table would feature not only this most attractive base (much larger than the other piece listed) but also a very ornate dressing table mirror and drawers. It has obviously been adapted for modern day living and now presents itself as a very versatile piece of furniture. It would look equally at home in a sitting room, dining room, hall or indeed as originally intended a bedroom. It has a beautiful shaped top and lovely carved legs, central drawer and backstand. Painted in a F&B base coat with a coloured wax applied to finish.
